The following streets are closed from 8:40 a.m. to 9:10 a.m. and 3:20 p.m. to 3:50 p.m. weekdays until June 29, 2023:
Third Crossing roadwork on Highway 15 at Gore
The Third Crossing Bridge from Ascot Lane to Point St Mark Drive is an active construction site. Trespassers are circumventing the site fencing and ignoring the signage that the road is closed. No public access is permitted until the formal opening occurs in December.
John Counter Blvd from Montreal Street to Ascot

An additional left turn lane on the west side of the John Counter Blvd/ Montreal St intersection will be opened. The advanced green light will remain bagged in the meantime. Follow the regular green light.

In-water rock causeway removal will continue. There will be an increase in dump truck traffic on the west side until completion in December.

Access from John Counter to Village on the River Apartments is currently shut down. These residents were notified to use their Montreal St access during this temporary closure to John Counter.

Pedestrians will be able to use the temporary access path north of JCB which will be maintained at all times.

Cyclists will be single file on JCB. Proper construction signage for cyclists will be provided.
Highway 15 and Gore Road
General Notes:

Access to the Pittsburgh Library parking lot will be maintained at all times.

The cycling and pedestrian signals have been activated to assist cyclists and pedestrians in crossing the road at Gore Road and Hwy 15 intersection.

Although line painting had been completed, the bridge remains closed to the public.
The dates above will be subject to change depending on weather.
Robert Bruce Garage Closure

The Robert Bruce Memorial Parking Restoration project is scheduled to get underway the first week of August and will be closed on Friday, July 29 in preparation for the work to commence. The work is expected to conclude in late November.

The work will take place throughout both levels of the building for structural rehabilitation and building envelop rehabilitation, upgrading of lighting and repair/replacement of railings and bollards. Both parking levels will be closed to the public for the duration of the project.

There is parking availability at both the Chown and Hanson parking garages in the adjacent blocks to the east and west of the Robert Bruce.
Other Delays
-
Front Road – Sand Bay Lane to Country Club Drive – expect traffic delays due to lane reduction to a single lane each direction until the end of 2022, as crews install a new water main and sanitary force main for Utilities Kingston.

Highway 33 – east of Collins Creek Bridge to west of Coronation Blvd. – expect delays due to construction to improve drainage. Construction barrels and flag-people will direct traffic around the work zone.

Jackson Mills Road – near the K & P Trail – reduced to one lane for roadside safety improvements but remains open in both directions.

Montreal Street – Thomas to James – expect a lane closure on Nov. 7 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. for paving in the intersection on Montreal and Stephen.

Sand Hill Road – City Limits to 5 km West of City Limit - expect delays from September 19 to November 16 as crews will be working on completing culvert replacing, road grading and paving.
