CFRC is recruiting a Funding Drive Coordinator to support CFRC's 13th annual Funding Drive.

The length of this contract position runs from September 17th through November 16th. Paid biweekly at $14/hr, the Funding Drive Coordinator will work a total of 115 hours during the length of the contract.
- 10 hrs/week for the six-week period between Sept 17th and Nov 1st
- 35 hours the week of Funding Drive itself: November 2nd-9th
- 20 hours in their final week of the contract Nov 10th -16th
Responsibilities include:
-Outreach to and onboarding commitments from local businesses and organizations who will support the Funding Drive through sponsorship and/or donations
-Outreach to Kingston and Queen's communities about the Funding Drive through poster and flyer distribution, and tabling at local venues and events
-Coordination of a social media campaign under the supervision of CFRC’s Sales and Marketing Coordinator to promote the Funding Drive on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram.
-Production and distribution of print resources for the Funding Drive (flyers, posters, program schedules, pledge forms)
-Coordination of audio resources production for the Funding Drive (recruiting station volunteers to record promotional announcements, sponsor thank-yous, celebrity pitches, etc.)
-Participation in and attendance to planning meetings with CFRC staff and volunteers
-Participation in and attendance to Funding Drive events
-Recruiting volunteers for Funding Drive events and pledge room work
-Supervising volunteer shifts and overseeing pledge room operation
-Submission of a summary report highlighting the Funding Drive's successes and challenges from the coordinator's perspective.
The ideal candidate for this position will have:
-strong oral and written communication skills
-self-motivation and an ability to work as part of a team
-demonstrated social media skills (experience with promoting through Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram)
-experience with community radio, audio production, sales and marketing, community outreach initiatives and/or fundraising for non-profit organizations
-experience in sales and ease with making pitches/asks
-time management & organizational skills
