Wanted: locals connected to renewable energy or agriculture for Climate Leadership Plan

May 4, 2021

Do you work or volunteer in the agriculture or renewable energy sector? If so, the City wants to hear from you!

The City is scheduling one-on-one chats with people in these sectors to collect feedback to help inform its Climate Leadership Plan.

Set to be shared with residents later this summer, the Climate Leadership Plan is a strategic document that will identify actions the municipality must take to achieve carbon neutrality no later than 2040. It will also act as a guide for the larger community.

“We cannot achieve our climate leadership goals without you,” says Julie Salter-Keane, Manager, Climate Leadership Division.
