CFRC, Tone Deaf Kingston, and Modern Fuel are pleased to present Tone Deaf 16, Kingston's Festival of Adventurous Sound Performance, from November 16th-26th, 2017!

CFRC is pleased to co-present Tone Deaf 16 along with our partners, Tone Deaf Kingston and Modern Fuel.  The festival runs from November 16th-26th with adventurous sound performances taking place at three outstanding locations.

November 16th:

Join us for an evening of new music and chamber experimentation with

Pianthropomorphia (Megumi Masaki, John Burge, Gary Kibbins)
Jessica Moss (Montreal, QC - Constellation Records)

November 17th

Join us for an evening of forward-looking electronica to make you move with

New Chance (Toronto, Healing Power Records)
Joni Void (Montreal, Constellation Records)
Atra Aeterna (Kingston, ON)

9:00 pm / $10

Also on November 17th, come engage with Gordon Monahan for their "Sound Art and Sound Installations" public talk at 12:30 pm, Harrison-LeCaine Hall Room 124 (39 Bader Lane).  Admission is free!

November 18th

Please join us at The Isabel Bader Centre for the Performing Arts for Bill Coleman and Gordon Monahan's brilliant music-dance-theatre work "Dollhouse" plus talkback session with the artists.

November 20th-24th

Visit the Isabel Art and Media Lab each day from 9 am - 5 pm daily to take in:

Swimming through the Fields-A colllaborative sound installation exploring the electromagnetic fields of household electronics by electroacoustic student musicians from Queen's University. 

The Isabel Art and Media Lab, 390 King Street West.  9-5 daily, Free admission!

November 26th

On the last evening, come celebrate another outstanding Tone Deaf Festival by joining us for an evening of exploratory rock music.
