Queen’s to resume in-person instruction on Feb. 28 as planned.

In a letter to the Queen's University community, Principal and Vice Chancellor Patrick Deane stated that in person instruction at the University will resume on February 28th 2022 with operational details forthcoming.

Deane noted that the University's decision was not expected to be released until early February.   Government announcements earlier this month for a staged reopening of the province, in addition to recent direction for the postsecondary sector from education and public health public health ministries earlier this week, however, prompted the University to definitively declare that it will "indeed move to in-person instruction at the end of next month."

A more detailed memorandum about course delivery and the return to campus is expected next week while updates will continue to be posted to the University's Safe Return Website.

"I am hopeful for what 2022 will bring and although we may have had a rough start to the new year, the future does look bright," Deane stated.
