Council moves ahead with motion of support for The Screening Room

November 4 2020 - City Council voted unanimously on Tuesday night in favour of a motion from Councillor Rob Hutchiston, put forth on behalf of The Screening Room theatre. The theatre’s operations have been hit hard by the COVID-19 pandemic, and many constituents have reportedly reached out to their councillors in concern. KFPL's Grownup Storytime Goes Online

November 4th 2020 Kingston ON- Kingston Frontenac Public Library is presenting its series Grownup Storytime once again.  It will continue in digital form until KFPL branches resume in-person programming.  KPFL says this series is a great way to relax at home at the beginning of the work week.  Audiences can listen to a couple of short readings over Zoom from noon until 1 p.m. every Monday from November 9 through December 14. City contributes to local toy drive

November 2, 2020 Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and in an effort to limit contact, the City will not be collecting toys this year for November parking tickets, but will instead make a one-time contribution of $6,850 to a local toy drive.
