Kingston Fire & Rescue recruiting up to 30 volunteer firefighters!

Looking to give back to your community? Kingston Fire & Rescue (KFR) is currently recruiting volunteer firefighters for all its volunteer-based stations.

“Volunteer firefighters are an essential part of our department, and help keep our community safe,” says Deputy Fire Chief Melanie Jones. If you are interested and available for this exciting and rewarding opportunity – and reside (will be validated) within the immediate area of any of the fire stations listed below – please consider applying on the City’s Careers page by Aug. 24!

  • Station #1 – Joyceville
  • Station #2 – Brewer’s Mill Road
  • Station #3 – Gore Road
  • Station #7 – Woodbine
  • Station #8 – Glenburnie
  • Station #9 – Rock Road
