Kingston, ON - HomeGrown Live Productions presents the Kim Pollard Band live at the Renaissance Event Venue on Friday, November 5. This is an in-person concert event and a live streaming event. Tickets for the concert are $20 in advance (proof of vaccination required to attend in-person), and the live stream to Facebook and YouTube is free. The concert starts at 8 pm, doors at 7 pm.

Napanee’s Kim Pollard is one powerhouse singer whose soulful songwriting has a profound and often life-changing impact on audiences wherever she performs. Her music tells of a life of joy, sorrow and redemption that everyone can relate to. Kim Pollard is the real deal. She has been nominated twice for the International Blues Challenge, and is a recipient of the All-Star Canadian Female Vocalist of the Year Award. Kim and her talented band have opened for several artists including Robert Cray and Buddy Guy, and have headlined shows at the RBC Ottawa Bluesfest, Limestone City Blues Festival, and Blue Skies Music Festivals. Kim has recorded two albums entitled Surrender and Wonder. She is currently working on her third.

This event is part of the HomeGrown Live Concert Series, funded in part by a Kingston Arts Council/City of Kingston Arts Fund (CKAF) Project Grant. The HomeGrown Live Concert Series includes seven performances, both in-person and online, involving more than two dozen Kingston-based musicians.
