Dr. Laura Carlson is a food historian and writer. After receiving her doctorate in medieval history from Oxford University, she has taught at Queen's in the Departments of History and Classics for five years. Laura writes on everything from ancient Sumerian beer to jaguar chocolate to feminist cocktails parties. When she's not building miniature trebuchets, she's out tending hop plants or worrying about her sourdough starter, and of course doing research and production for this juicy podcast.
The Feast launches on CFRC 101.9 FM on Monday November 6th at 4 pm and will run weekly thereafter.
