Canada Day is around the corner, and the Special Events Team at the City of Kingston is looking for corporate sponsors to support community-based programming.
On Friday, July 1, the City of Kingston will host a celebration of connection, kindness and culture that will include musical performances, magic, puppet shows and much more. Still in the planning phase, Canada Day 2022 specific programming will be announced in the coming months.
Canada Day activities will be held at Woodbine Park, Rideau Heights Community Centre, and Kingston East Community Centre. Corporate sponsors are invited to express their interest in partnering at one or more of these events that will celebrate community connections that foster inclusiveness, diversity and accessibility through the arts, culture and physical activity.
“We are looking forward to connecting with residents in person and welcoming them to programming in their local neighbourhoods. Now, more than ever, it is critical to provide opportunities to bring people together at a local level to foster unity and understanding. These events provide that kind of opportunity for people to connect as a community,” says Amy Gibson, Manager, Recreation Services. “Financial support from local businesses can help us deliver more programming and put your brand front and centre through the City’s wide reach.”
Interested businesses are invited to learn more about feature event sponsorship opportunities. For more information, please contact the Marketing and Revenue Development team at [email protected] or 613-546-4291 ext. 1143.
