Of the programs aired, the vast majority feature recorded local and somewhat local readings, performances and events. From time to time, the show offers itself up to live in-studio interviews and readings, and also occasionally airs telephone interviews and readings from more distant locales. Those telephone readings, though sporadic, have covered a number of cities from coast to coast in Canada, including one from the U.S.

Bruce Kauffman, creator and host of the show set up a blogspace for it in February, 2012 at https://findingavoiceoncfrcfm.wordpress.com/ and it contains all shows dating back to December of 2011. All shows are saved there indefinitely.

    Blues Project

A Saturday night with Wayne Vermette hosting Blues Project has been a "must listen" program for many true blues aficionados for  over thirty years now.  Roots blues from the Mississippi Delta and Chicago support all of the worldwide artists and their unique styles of the music that continues to grow in popularity with young and old.  Canada has it's share of input into the blues genre as well.  Early Canadian artists like Downchild, Matt Minglewood and Powder Blues Band support the genre from coast to coast.  Some say 'revival', I say 'ongoing need' to hear the music that heals the soul and tells the truth about life's times of trouble and toil.  Dance, you say?  It doesn't get any better than boogieing to a quick New Orleans blues tempo or swaying to a soft and gentle tune from the likes of Ireland's Gary Moore.  For two hours of solid blues listening, tune in to 101.9fm, Cogeco cable channel 282 or CFRC.ca every Saturday night from 6:00pm until 8:00...where the project is blues for everyone.

    Tapping the Ether

Broadcasting on CFRC 101.9FM on Saturday nights from 8-10pm, Tapping the Ether has been on the air since around 1990, making it one of the longest running programs at the station. Playing a wide variety of music from the Hard Rock/Heavy Metal genres, covering the spectrum from AOR to Black Metal, Prog Rock to Thrash. Music from every time period and from anywhere in the world, big names to unknowns, legendary to obscure. There is talk about the history of metal, profile the bands and artists that make it all worthwhile, provide news and reviews, and sometimes just run off the mouth of whatever’s on my mind. I don’t just play metal – I LOVE metal!

    The Anatomy Lesson

The Anatomy Lesson is a show dedicated to mood and atmosphere. Each episode has clips from movies and television, a minimal amount of talking and a maximal amount of music that might be described as 'dark', 'weird' or 'unsettling.' Genres featured include synthpop, adventurous dance music, minimal wave, darkwave, industrial, post-punk, doom metal, ambient, electroacoustic and anything that could be called experimental. The show follows in the footsteps of now retired programs like 'Dark Carnival' and 'Retrospect' and in that vein plays music both new and classic. There is also a blog attached to the show that includes weekly setlists at anatomy-lesson.tumblr.com
